Features: West Street is like the Old Man of the Moon, storing and brewing so much love, waiting for the destined ones to come and claim it in pairs. Yes, love will wait for me on West Street—not by the river, not by the Yulong River, not on Moon Mountain, not on Bilefeng, not on bamboo rafts, not on rock-climbing ropes, not in JACK DANIELS, not in triple espresso—when love comes face to face in the way of a meeting, we are destined to have nowhere to escape. Like the bird in Wong Kar-wai's forest that can only land once in a lifetime, it keeps flying, keeps loving—There is a way of life that is traveling, and love is also a way of life, though not all travelers are obsessed with love. When a place treats us with a heart of universal love, even a simple message and an earring can make our hearts flutter. Such a place is Yangshuo, West Street. Thus, we all come to this place, filled with a mysterious aura. This aura flows into Yangshuo's landscapes, blending with them naturally—forming mountains, embracing rivers, softening into fields. When it flows into West Street, it gathers into a wave of love, spreading toward the crowds, brushing against the cups of wine, kissing the empty heads, veiling the lingering glances at the corners of the eyes.
This is a visual journal, as well as a spiritual journal. Open the book, and a vast array of beauty and joy rush in. The eyes move, the heart moves, gazes echo with the landscapes, and thoughts align with the scenery. It is an impressionistic portrayal of Guilin's mountains and waters, a radiant illumination of the bonds of West Street.
