Doctor's answer:
For acute-phase symptoms such as low-grade fever or no fever, runny nose, cough, sore throat, or poor appetite and nausea, the "Yinqiao San" formula can be used. If there is persistent high fever, dense distribution of blisters on the mouth, hands, feet, buttocks, and limbs, the "Qingwen Baaidu Yin" formula can be used. For complications such as unrelenting high fever and frequent coughing with shortness of breath, the "Jizhao Lianhuang Wan combined with Shenfu Tang" formula can be used.During the recovery phase of the illness, for children with dry mouth and sore throat, add Shashen and Maidong to the "Shasemenaidong Tang" formula, along with Shengdihuang and Lugen to nourish yin and generate fluids, clear heat, and moisten the throat. If blisters appear in the child's mouth, any one of "Xigua Shuang," "Bingbeng San," or "Xili San" can be applied to the affected area. For severe blisters on the hands and feet, any one of "Ruyijinhuang San" or "Qingdai San" can be mixed with sesame oil and applied to the blisters.
