Features: This book is a professional dictionary designed for primary school students and primary school Chinese language educators. In selecting the definitions of words and phrases, the dictionary follows the principle of "convention," with most definitions appearing in the "Primary School Five-Year-System Chinese Language" and "Primary School Six-Year-System Chinese Language" textbooks published by the People's Education Press, as well as in extracurricular reading materials for primary school students. It also includes some definitions that go beyond the textbook scope but are essential for primary school students to understand and master, while omitting obscure definitions. Generally, the content does not exceed the level required by the primary school Chinese language teaching syllabus. To help primary school students understand and master words and phrases, several painters from the Central Academy of Arts and Design and the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts were specially invited to create over 200 illustrations tailored to the characteristics and learning abilities of primary school students. These illustrations make the dictionary visually engaging, vivid, and more suitable for primary school students to read and use.
