Does hand, foot, and mouth disease always cause fever?

Patient's question:

No

Doctor's answer:

Oral ulcers are a common oral mucosal disease, also known as aphthous stomatitis, and cause significant pain during outbreaks. Poor sleep and other psychological factors; lack of trace elements such as zinc, iron, folic acid, vitamin B12; genetic and other factors can all cause them. Treatment suggestions:
1. Yike.
2. Gentamicin injection applied to the oral ulcer surface, then reapply after a few minutes. Apply four times daily, and it usually heals within 2-3 days.
3. Crush vitamin C tablets and sprinkle them on the ulcer or place the whole tablet directly on the affected area. Apply twice daily. Generally, 3-4 applications are sufficient for healing; mild cases may heal in 1-2 applications, but pain is significantly more pronounced upon initial use.
