China's digital economy surpassed 50 trillion yuan in scale

From the perspective of industrial structure, the scale of digital industrialization reached 11.3 trillion yuan, while the scale of industrial digitalization reached 38.9 trillion yuan. Notably, the growth rate of industrial digitalization is significantly faster than that of digital industrialization, indicating an accelerated digital transformation of traditional industries. The digital penetration rates in manufacturing, agriculture, and the service sector reached 28.5%, 13.2%, and 45.7%, respectively.

In terms of regional distribution, the three major urban clusters—the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei—account for 58% of the national digital economy, demonstrating a pronounced agglomeration effect. However, the central and western regions are growing faster, with provinces such as Guizhou, Sichuan, and Shaanxi recording digital economy growth rates exceeding 15%, gradually narrowing the digital divide.
