Features: Perhaps we should first define the term "working" for a moment: living in a city where you don't have a local "hukou," relying on your intelligence and physical labor to earn living expenses. These defining words are a bit awkward, but at least we can use this narrow interpretation to separate this specific group of people, the "workers," from the vast sea of humanity. And so, we see millions of men and women streaming in from the mountains, the plains, even from schools, from some unknown corner of the world, pouring into certain neighborhoods of a city and beginning a strange and arduous life. They are the workers of today.
