Features: This book is divided into two parts. The first part is an internship guide, primarily intended for teaching students in health statistics or medical statistics courses. The content and time arrangement can be adjusted appropriately for students of different disciplines. The latter part of this section includes comprehensive application problems, designed to help students better select and apply statistical methods. Answers are not provided for this part. The second part is a reference set of exercises, mainly intended for readers to further study health statistics or medical statistics. On one hand, students with extra time can choose a portion of it as supplementary learning materials and references outside of class. On the other hand, it can also serve as review material for those preparing for various health statistics exams. To facilitate learning, both true-or-false questions, multiple-choice questions, and application questions in this part are provided with reference answers. It should be noted that some application problems may have multiple solution methods, and the book typically presents the most commonly used one. Most application problems only provide relatively simple answers, while some offer more detailed problem-solving methods and processes for reference by various readers. For some important content, the second part may have minor overlaps with the first part, and certain sections have extended conventional teaching content. To aid in review and to facilitate the comparison and selection of various statistical methods, the division of sections in this part is not strictly defined, with some crossover between sections, and even some content from the latter part included in the former. The content of this book can also be summarized into two parts: one is the concepts in health statistics teaching materials, which primarily helps readers review related concepts through true-or-false and multiple-choice questions. Due to the rigor of statistical thinking and logical reasoning, such concepts must be expressed with very precise language. Readers must carefully read and understand the questions in this section, paying attention to the essential differences between different answers and the reasoning behind choosing or not choosing a particular answer. The other is the practical application of health statistics methods, which primarily helps readers learn the selection and application of statistical methods through application problems.
