What are the symptoms of hand, foot, and mouth disease in 8-month-old infants?

Patient's question:

No

Doctor's answer:

Acute onset, fever, scattered vesicles on oral mucosa, maculopapular and vesicular rash on hands, feet, and buttocks, with inflammatory erythema around vesicles and less fluid in vesicles. May be accompanied by symptoms such as cough, runny nose, and poor appetite. Some cases may only present with rash or herpetic pharyngitis. Most recover within a week with a good prognosis.
