Beijing, as the capital of our country, features holiday flower beds with unique styles and meanings. The book "Beijing Holiday Flower Beds" compiles the holiday flower beds of Beijing over the years, unfolding the narrative in three progressive parts.
The first part introduces the development of Beijing holiday flower beds, presenting the concept, function, classification, design principles, and Beijing characteristics to readers in a detailed manner. The second part, combined with practical examples of Beijing holiday flower beds, categorizes flower beds into 11 types of designs—such as flower balls, flower pots, and flower baskets—and provides in-depth analysis of each. The third part primarily introduces the main plant materials used in Beijing holiday flower beds. The book features a clear structure, closely arranged illustrations, detailed and insightful image critiques, and a straightforward, precise focus. In today's emphasis on urban beautification and greening, it offers valuable insights for exchanging flower bed design ideas across regions and jointly creating better cities.
