Features: The correct diagnosis of a disease by a doctor is like a detective solving a case. Only by eliminating the misleading illusions can the "true culprit" be caught. Differential diagnosis is one of the most powerful tools for this. Misdiagnosis means letting the "true culprit" escape. "Punishing the innocent" is the most heart-wrenching thing for a doctor. Please make good use of differential diagnosis techniques, doctors. This book is divided into two parts: the upper part is of a general nature and adopts the form of "medical talks," elaborating on the related matters of similar types commonly encountered in differential diagnosis in the clinical practice of traditional Chinese medicine internal medicine. It starts with the most basic and easily graspable fundamental knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis, lays a solid foundation first, and then proceeds step by step from simple to complex, from shallow to deep, without involving specific diseases or syndromes in the content. The lower part mainly focuses on common diseases frequently encountered in clinical practice, which are easily confused, or similar syndromes within the same disease, categorized according to traditional Chinese medicine disease-syndrome classification, with separate entries listed for differential diagnosis. In each entry, the most common causes of misdiagnosis are targeted and analyzed. By comparing and analyzing the etiology, pathogenesis, and syndromal manifestations, the differences and similarities in the etiology, pathogenesis, syndromal characteristics, and developmental trends of similar diseases are thoroughly clarified, highlighting the key points for differential diagnosis. This allows for the correct diagnosis and syndrome differentiation of the disease or syndrome, directly pointing the way for formulating treatment methods. This book is suitable for students of Chinese medicine universities and colleges, as well as middle-aged and young traditional Chinese medicine practitioners, as a reference for clinical observation, practice, and diagnosis in the study of traditional Chinese medicine internal medicine, or as a supplementary textbook for self-study of traditional Chinese medicine internal medicine.
