Features: The works collected in this anthology generally outline the scope of my ten years of novel writing. They reflect my literary views and the trajectory of my artistic pursuits. Although I have tried to avoid trends, they bear distinct marks of their time, reflecting historical currents. My novels may have consciously employed the perspective of intellectuals from the outset, with a relatively rational grasp. From these works, it is evident that I have been exploring two thematic domains with two distinct styles. One domain focuses on the existential dilemmas of contemporary people, while the other detaches from reality, weaving romantic historical tales that delve into the depths of human confusion. These can be broadly divided into four stages: "May," "The Sun of Tomorrow," "Bombing," and the long novel "The Outlaw Chief." It can be said that this is a process of transformation in realism, a journey of reflection on literature, on real life, and on contemporary aesthetics. Comparing recent short stories with earlier works naturally and clearly reveals these changes.
