NoDoctor's answer:
Hyperhidrosis refers to excessive sweating caused by the oversecretion of sweat glands. During childhood, due to high metabolism, high skin water content, and a dense distribution of capillaries, children generally sweat more than adults. Excessive sweating caused by high environmental temperature, overly thick clothing and bedding, or intense physical activity is a necessary process for the body to regulate its temperature, known as physiological hyperhidrosis. If none of these factors are present, excessive sweating when the body is at rest is referred to as pathological hyperhidrosis.
