Features: I have served as a translator and assistant for some of the world's great figures, and later, like my father, I entered the diplomatic career. Life led me to interact with Stalin and Molotov, Khrushchev and Brezhnev, Andropov and Gorbachev, as well as many other famous Russian and foreign figures. And here were my rises and falls. This book is not a historical study or an academic treatise, but rather memories of an unusual family. Two generations of this family lived in Russia, covering almost the entire 20th century, experiencing several wars that caused great destruction and revolutions that shook society, as well as the rise and fall of the nation. Moreover, the representatives of this family played a significant role in many historical twists and turns of our country. People talk about establishing a multipolar world, and this is not just empty talk. History teaches us that a unipolar world where one nation dominates or attempts to dominate others is a dangerous world.
