Features: In recent years, horror novels have captivated the world with their unique artistic charm, giving rise to many master-level horror novelists in Western countries. In China, literary works involving horror themes have also started to gain popularity, consistently ranking on the sales charts of major bookstores. Following martial arts and romance, horror novels are poised to become a sustained trend in popular reading and the absolute main force in popular culture. Since the official launch of the "773 Horror Series" in September 2001, six volumes have been published so far, achieving a strong brand image. Currently, many Chinese horror novelists have proactively contacted our company, requesting to include their works in the 773 series. Our goal is to: gather China's best horror novelists and build a horror novel brand in China. The content of the "773 Horror Series" aligns with the reading psychology of Eastern readers, characterized by mystery, suspense, and a chilling effect that leaves readers eager for the next book. Film companies have also taken notice, with two volumes already expressing interest in adaptation.
Jiang Zhongtian, entangled in a web of complexities, drove away from the city and sped along a wide suburban highway, heading toward a mysterious rendezvous. No cars were on the road, and no people were in sight—everything was eerily silent. As the sun began to set, he suddenly felt uneasy. Ahead, the highway split into a three-way junction. In the dim twilight, two roads stretched into the darkness, their destinations unknown. He froze. The other party had said there was only one road to the meeting place—where was the original fork? He stopped the car and called the other person, only to receive the reply: "Out of service." Amid his confusion, he saw a hunched old man leading a flock of black sheep, slowly crossing the road. Jiang rushed forward to ask for directions. The old man lowered his head and pointed to the left fork, then gently shook his sheep whip and silently vanished into the darkness on the other side of the road. Believing the old man's gesture, Jiang drove toward that fork. In his panic, he overlooked some crucial details—the silent black sheep, none of which had lifted their heads or shown their eyes throughout, and the yellow paper money hanging from the sheep whip in the old man's hand! From then on, Jiang embarked on an inescapable and terrifying path filled with unease and horror.
