This condition is known as "poor tracheobronchial compliance" in medicine. It generally occurs in children who have asthma, have had severe tracheobronchitis in the past, or frequently suffer from tracheobronchitis. However, it is not excluded that the population with insufficient swallowing reflex action during sleep, or those with acid reflux, or those with allergic or irritative cough caused by dust and mites in the bedding.
