My real interest in this place came from the explosive color revolution inspired by Impressionist painters like Monet, Renoir, Cézanne, Van Gogh, Picasso, and Matisse, finding a new life for colors in the brilliant and sparkling sunlight of Provence. Some even say that our perception of Provence, including the colors of goods and decorations in the shops of its towns today, has been influenced by them. The diary here does not intend to make scholarly statements about ancient Roman ruins, churches, monasteries, etc. There may be a sense of nostalgia for the past, but there is no exploration of archaeology or history. I only record my direct feelings and thoughts about the natural and human landscapes at the time. (Author's words)
