Features: With the reform and opening-up, China's science and technology and industrial production have rapidly developed. Talents with solid theoretical foundations, broad knowledge, strong practical skills, and innovative abilities are highly sought after by society. To adapt to this trend, higher education institutions have deepened educational reforms and adjusted their major offerings. Comprehensive Chemistry Experiment is a new experimental course offered to upper-level students after they have completed basic chemistry experiments. Its curriculum covers professional knowledge and cutting-edge fields in inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry, physical chemistry, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, biochemistry, and other disciplines, as well as the operation and use of modern large-scale instruments. The goal is to broaden students' knowledge, enhance their practical skills, improve their comprehensive qualities and hands-on motivation, enabling them to better adapt to modern technological development and talent market demands. Comprehensive Chemistry Experiment must reflect both the novelty and comprehensiveness of its content while catering to the characteristics of students' course schedules. The experimental content of this book primarily comes from three sources: First, improvements on the research achievements of various research groups in our school, designed by teachers and doctoral students from each group; second, extensions and updates of important experimental content in each secondary discipline, designed by professional experimental teachers according to the needs of disciplinary development; and third, a small number of experimental contents selected and improved from research literature in accordance with the overall requirements of the teaching syllabus. The book includes necessary appendices. It embodies the combination of teaching and research, as well as the integration of the main knowledge required in the field of chemistry.
