In the 21st century, which region possesses development potential and has the possibility to lead in economic and social development in a multipolar world? The answer is clear: as long as East Asian countries can achieve sustainable development in population, resources, environment, economy, and society under the guidance of the principle of "neighboring friendship, enhanced cooperation, complementary advantages, and common development," and integrate into the tide of the global economic cycle, they will surely stand tall in the East. Readers can find strategies in this book. The book provides a comprehensive discussion on economic development theory and economic restructuring, as well as the causes and impacts of economic development and financial crises in East Asia; population, resources, environment, and culture, focusing on sustainable development issues of economic society; and the impact of global economic integration on China's industrial development and the development of foreign trade. This holds significant reference value for East Asian economic development, particularly for China's economic development.
