Features: The composition of seal script is relatively simpler compared to cursive and running scripts. Especially with small seal script, it shares many similarities with regular script and clerical script, such as being (level and uniform) and having horizontal and vertical lines arranged in rows. However, the composition of large seal script and oracle bone script is much richer and more complex. This is because they are from much earlier periods, with much older forms, and were carved or cast on various-shaped bone fragments or bronze vessels, which are not as easily arranged as on smooth paper. Therefore, their composition methods also differ.
