Features: 2004 Judicial and Commercial Law Examination Advanced Guidance and Achievement Test. Since 2002, the Judicial Examination was designated as a qualification exam for specific legal professions. It has become a "exam" in the eyes of the Chinese people and has attracted worldwide attention due to its high threshold (candidates must have a bachelor's degree or higher) and strict requirements (the pass rate was only 6.7% in 2002 and 10% in 2003). In the face of such a situation where everyone competes for a limited opportunity, choosing the right study material for effective preparation becomes a key factor in determining success. Advanced Guidance and Achievement Test is a comprehensive study guide for the Judicial Examination. The term "comprehensive" refers to its focus on explaining and analyzing exam-related content, supplemented by past exam questions for in-depth understanding. High-quality practice questions are also included for achievement testing, aiming to achieve the best results through layered learning. Advanced Guidance and Achievement Test is divided into six volumes, including Jurisprudence·Legal History·Constitutional Law·Legal Ethics, Civil Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Law·Procedural Law, Commercial Law·Economic Law, and International Law. Each volume includes numerous tables to compare and summarize related content, making it clear and well-organized. The content is arranged with emphasis on key areas, prioritizing and excluding certain topics based on their proportion in the Judicial Examination. The structure is as follows:
In each subject, the book first outlines the key content, exam significance, and study methods. It then presents the knowledge system and topic statistics, highlighting recurring topics with underlines to remind students of their importance. Finally, achievement tests similar to past exam questions are provided at the end of each subject for self-assessment. For subjects with extensive content, they are divided into chapters, each with multiple sections:
(1) [Knowledge Structure]: Lists each chapter's content in a structured format, clarifying the internal logic system to help students grasp the material holistically and build a knowledge framework.
(2) [Topic Statistics]: Analysis of past exam questions reveals a high repetition rate of key topics. Statistical data on question points helps students focus their study efforts effectively.
(3) [Key Memorization]: This is the core of the book, providing interpretations of all key content in the chapter. Concepts are tied to legal articles, integrating them into detailed explanations to help students deeply understand and memorize the law. Additionally, a "Note for Understanding" section highlights easily misunderstood, overlooked, or confused points to ensure no detail is missed.
(4) [Past Exam Examples]: Past exam questions are the most classic, reliable, and valuable resources, offering guidance and reference value. Therefore, questions from 1998–2003 are organized by topics in each chapter as benchmarks to help students assess their mastery.
(5) [Comprehensive Question Solutions]: Unselected multiple-choice questions and case analysis questions involving multiple topics across chapters are compiled together, helping students understand the characteristics of comprehensive question types in the Judicial Examination.
(6) [Achievement Test]: Fully aligns with the question types of the Judicial Examination, covering all key points required by the exam syllabus. The questions are arranged from easy to difficult, enabling students to achieve a comprehensive understanding, apply knowledge, and self-assess.
Advanced Guidance and Achievement Test was originally an internal correspondence learning textbook, jointly authored by professors, associate professors, and law doctors and masters from universities such as China University of Political Science and Law, Peking University, Renmin University of China, the School of International Relations, and Beijing Forestry University.
