Features: In the development of socialist rule of law in China, commercial legislation is the most active field and also the most successful one. From the Foreign Investment Enterprises Law of 1979 to the Company Law of 1993, and then to the Trust Law of 2001, specialized legislation (laws or regulations) has been enacted in most commercial law fields, including companies, enterprises, securities, negotiable instruments, insurance, maritime law, trusts, guarantees, futures, tendering and bidding, and auctions. Since commercial law directly reflects the requirements of the market economy, studying and mastering the theoretical knowledge of commercial law can directly serve market economic activities. Therefore, commercial law has been highly valued in legal education and various forms of legal knowledge training, becoming a prominent highlight in legal studies, and commercial law research has also become one of the hot topics in legal theoretical research. The Law Department of Xiamen University has been dedicated to the development of civil and commercial law disciplines and courses, textbooks, and has organized the writing of a series of civil and commercial law textbooks [including General Principles of Civil Law, Property Law, Debt Law, Intellectual Property Law, Marriage, Family, and Inheritance Law, Commercial Law (Volume 1 and 2)]. Some results have been achieved. To further promote the theoretical teaching and research of commercial law, the Law Department of Xiamen University has collaborated with Fujian Provincial College of Political and Legal Administration for the first time, organizing some teachers engaged in civil and commercial law theoretical teaching and research to write this series of commercial law books, aiming to make contributions in the teaching and research of commercial law. The original intention of writing this series of books is to provide a relatively complete textbook and reference book for undergraduate law students in commercial law. Therefore, we particularly emphasize that attention should be paid to systematically explaining the basic concepts, fundamental knowledge, and fundamental theories of various commercial laws, combining with China's legislative and judicial practices, and as far as possible, absorbing new achievements in theoretical research. Thus, this series of books can not only serve as teaching materials for commercial law but also as a reading material for general readers to understand and master commercial law or a specific field of commercial law. This series of books is edited by Liu Jingwei as the chief editor, with Liu Yongguang and Chen Mingtian as deputy editors. Insurance Law is one of the books in this series, with the following: Huang Jianxiong wrote chapters , 2, and 3; Chen Yuling wrote chapters 4, 5, 6, and 7. Any shortcomings in this book are welcome to be criticized and corrected by readers and experts. This book systematically elaborates on the basic concepts and fundamental principles of electronic commerce and electronic commerce law. The entire book is divided into 11 chapters, respectively, to explain the legal issues of electronic contracts, the basic legal issues of electronic signatures and electronic certification, the legal issues of electronic payments, the legal issues of e-commerce taxation, the legal issues of online securities trading, the legal issues of intellectual property protection in e-commerce, the legal issues of unfair competition in e-commerce, the legal issues of consumer rights protection in e-commerce, the legal issues of privacy protection in e-commerce, cybercrime issues, and the resolution of e-commerce disputes, elaborating on the authors' own views and providing a legal normative system that can be referenced in the special legal issues of the electronic commerce environment.
