Features: The "Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso" and "Havane" in this collection are important works in Saint-Sa?ns' violin compositions. The "Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso," Op. 28, was written in 1870. Saint-Sa?ns dedicated this work to the famous Spanish violinist Sarasate at the time, and in the process of composition, he thoroughly studied the violin playing techniques, thereby fully utilizing the rich artistic expressiveness of the violin in the work. "Havane," Op. 83, was written in 1887. At that time, Saint-Sa?ns performed with violinist Albertini in various countries in Europe. They were stranded in a hotel in Bucharest due to rain, which led to the conception of this piece. Two years later, he completed the full score and dedicated it to Albertini. These two works have become standard repertoire for violinists active on the international music scene today.
