Features: Last September, Chinese model Hun Lulu won the bronze medal at the World Super Model Contest. Recently, after filming the TV drama "Red Carpet, Black Dream," directed by Xie Fei and starring Chen Kun and He Jing, Hun Lulu released her debut work "My Unreserved Desires." For the first time, she presents a comprehensive record of the World Super Model Contest through over 400 vivid photographs, revealing the behind-the-scenes story. In her book, readers can see how this Chinese girl, with her genuine, pure, and never pretentious personality, conquered her competitors and the judges during the 15 days she spent living and working alongside the world's super models. A DVD documentary, compiled from 1,500 minutes of documentary material, is included as a bonus.
Morning News reports that it's not uncommon for top models to publish books. However, Hun Lulu has taken a different approach by turning her camera on others. In her new book "My Unreserved Desires," she documents the World Super Model Contest and the heartwarming journey of a Chinese model. In September 2003, Beijing girl Hun Lulu made her debut representing China at the World Super Model Contest. With her unique ethereal aura and Eastern-style performance, she won the bronze medal, becoming a new star shining on the international stage in the world of Chinese modeling. Three months later, she published her debut work, presenting a comprehensive record of the World Super Model Contest through over 400 photographs.
"I feel a sense of mission in publishing this book," Hun Lulu, known for her straightforward personality, said. "What matters most about participating in this contest isn't just that Chinese models won a prize—it's that throughout the process, I truly experienced a global aesthetic trend. It no longer measures beauty solely by body measurements and height, but rather emphasizes intelligence, personality, and inner substance. That's what moved me the most."
