Frequent belching, is it a precursor to gastric cancer?

Patient's question:

My stomach isn't very good, it's cold in nature, and my stomach has poor digestive ability. I don't eat much. Seven years ago, I had an endoscopy, and it showed that I only had a bit of gastritis at that time. In the past two years, I've changed my breakfast to coffee and bread, and after a year, I started to burp, whether eating or drinking. I always feel stomach discomfort, and even taking stomach medicine doesn't help, it's just burping. Endoscopy is too painful, so I'm asking first—is this a precursor to stomach cancer?

Doctor's answer:

Analysis of the condition: Age and gender? Elderly males are more common with gastric cancer, but the symptoms of dyspepsia are more consistent with your condition. Suggestions: Generally speaking, if there is no occurrence of hematemesis or hematochezia, gastric cancer is not considered.
