What does lvw on a four-dimensional color ultrasound report mean?

Patient's question:

I had a 4D ultrasound at 6 and a half months plus 5 days. Everything else was normal, but I don't understand what the doctor meant by "lvw" with a value of 0.71 cm displayed. I would like to ask what the normal value is, and if the same result is found during a follow-up, would it indicate hydrocephalus?

Doctor's answer:

Analysis of the condition: Hello, lvw represents the width of the lateral ventricle. Suggestions: Under normal circumstances, the width of the fetal lateral ventricle is 1-2mm. However, clinically, a lateral ventricle width greater than 10mm is generally considered abnormal. It is recommended that you regularly go to the hospital for follow-up examinations.
