The first chapter primarily analyzes the political systems, origins, formation, development, and general characteristics of Latin American countries. Chapters two through twelve mainly focus on the fundamental content and specific features of Latin American political systems. The final chapter analyzes the current crisis of political systems in Latin American countries and the issues of political system reform.
