The graduate and postgraduate students selected in this book are the outstanding representatives among the many students of China's key art academies. This series of books only selects graduate works from four painting and sculpture majors—Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, and sculpture—as well as three art design majors—environmental art, graphic design (visual communication), and applied art (fiber art)—for publication. Their works include both foundational painting exercises from their undergraduate studies and works and research papers from their graduate studies. Readers can fully appreciate the diverse artistic personalities in their paintings and the different research directions in their achievements. The artworks, theories, and academic experiences in the book also provide valuable references for students pursuing their studies in specialized and undergraduate programs.
