Part IV: Industrial Organization, including six chapters on industrial organization theory and trends, industrial concentration and concentration levels, specialization and collaboration, enterprise scale and scale structure, economic alliances and corporate groups, and enterprise internationalization and multinational corporations. Part V: Mechanism Conditions, including two chapters on market mechanisms and macro control, and enterprise transformation and institutional building. This manuscript is a culmination of the 47 years of teaching and research achievements in industrial economics by the chief editor, reflecting the contributions of the co-authors from their years of teaching and research. It also draws on and incorporates the cutting-edge research findings of domestic and international scholars in the field. The authors of the second edition consist of eleven economics Ph.D.s, including nine professors and two corporate CEOs, with three of them being doctoral supervisors.
