Features: When discussing this topic and the specific target audience, at least two related issues are involved. One issue is that, on the one hand, a book on exchange rate forecasting may need to focus on the emphasis on forecasting techniques, and in extreme cases, it may even become a specialized book on econometrics; on the other hand, such a book may emphasize the application of exchange rate forecasting in business decision-making, and in this case, the econometric and statistical analysis features used for forecasting are placed in a secondary position. This book covers all aspects related to exchange rate forecasting, but due to space constraints, there are inevitably various shortcomings in the discussion. For this reason, I have written this book with the seriousness of a monograph, rather than superficially trying to break the balance between the two aspects mentioned above. In "Exchange Rate Forecasting—Techniques and Applications," the author provides readers with a panoramic view of forecasting techniques, detailing various forecasting methods and their applications in exchange rate forecasting in an easy-to-understand manner. In fact, the book particularly emphasizes the application of various forecasting techniques in business decisions, such as hedging, speculation, investment, financing, and capital budgeting, in the discussion of forecasting techniques.
