Features: This book presents the author's conclusions drawn from a comparative study of a vast number of historical figures and leaders from around the world and in real life. These insights have also been proven to be a quick and effective method for learning leadership knowledge through the author's and others' practices. What is leadership? Accurately speaking, leadership is not a static position or authority, but a process and an activity—it is the process and activity of making decisions and guiding followers to achieve those decisions. Decision-making is the core and soul of the leadership process. After a decision is made, the leadership process transitions into the implementation phase. Since leadership involves organizing followers to implement decisions, this essentially becomes the process of identifying, selecting, and organizing personnel, as well as directing them to act according to the established decisions. Obviously, leaders do not take on all activities during the implementation of decisions. As decision-makers, they only make decisions regarding how to select qualified executors, how to organize and direct followers to act. This is essentially a decision-making process about how to utilize people and how to organize. At the same time, leaders must use their authority to mobilize human, material, and financial resources within the organization. Most of the content in this book was systematically organized through the guidance of graduate students, and the results have been included in the author's 2000-published collection, Reflections of the Century. In this book, we will discuss leadership as comprehensively and thoroughly as possible, hoping that our insights can deeply resonate with readers in the light of the new century. Using the popular saying of today's young people, it is simply "Hope you like it!"
