Do high fever convulsions transform into epilepsy under any conditions?

Patient's question:

When I was at my aunt's house, a few weeks ago, in the middle of the night, the child had a high fever. They went to the hospital, got an injection, but the fever still wouldn't go down. Later, the child even had a seizure. After the fever subsided, suddenly one day, the child fainted, with a lot of white foam around the mouth, and also lost control of urination. The doctor suspected it was epilepsy caused by the high fever.

Doctor's answer:

Hello! You need to observe whether the child has any further convulsive seizures and body temperature during convulsions. If it doesn't occur continuously, I think medication may not be needed for the time being. If it happens again in the short term, I think medication should be used. Additionally, brain needs to be reviewed regularly.
