From September 2000 to July 2003, she pursued a master's degree in the Department of Arts and Crafts, Tsinghua University of Arts and Design, with a research focus on fiber art. The selected graduate students in this book are among the outstanding students from numerous key contemporary art academies in China, representing a certain level of excellence. This series of books publishes graduate works from only four painting and sculpture disciplines—Chinese painting, oil painting, printmaking, and sculpture—as well as three art design disciplines—environmental art, graphic design (visual communication), and arts and crafts (fiber art). Their works include both foundational painting exercises from their undergraduate studies and research papers from their graduate studies. Readers can fully appreciate the diverse artistic personalities in their paintings and the varied research outcomes. The artworks, theories, and academic experiences in the book also provide valuable references for students pursuing their studies at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
