Sorry, I love you

Features: Two cups of hot coffee, the mood is waiting, but the person I'm waiting for won't come. If there's a chance, I really want to say "I'm sorry" to you in person, "I'm sorry, I didn't love you well enough, but I do love you, I still love you, I'm sorry, really, I love you." After opening this door, which I have entered and exited countless times so far, I saw something familiar enough to break my heart on the desk—a key. The spare key I called Xiao Xiang. There was nothing else besides the key! I tried to find something, anything—a crumpled note saying "We broke up," or a note saying "Don't look for me anymore." But there was nothing. Xiao Xiang's breakup letter was just the key, a key that didn't belong to him anyway; while I was away, he placed it on my desk, nothing more. Not even a last word. Infinite possibilities spun in my mind. But in the end, I said nothing. I just locked the key at the very bottom of the drawer, took the old card to the rooftop balcony, and set it on fire. Then I sat back at my desk and sharpened a dozen new pencils, burying myself in writing. Not a single tear fell, though my heart was broken.
