My child was diagnosed with cerebral palsy before August, and I want to consult which hospital is good.

Patient's question:

The child is lying flat and arching their back more frequently, crying and fussing, with clenched fingers. It's very likely spastic cerebral palsy.

Doctor's answer:

1. No prenatal and postnatal medical history provided, and whether there are high-risk factors for brain injury.
2. Sedative medication can be used to ensure the child is asleep for MRI examination.
3. It is recommended to bring the child and their medical records for an in-person consultation.
4. To reduce cross-infection, children aged 6 months or older can be hospitalized for rehabilitation; those younger than this age can undergo local rehabilitation or training and guidance at our hospital.
5. If diagnosed with cerebral palsy, rehabilitation training should be the primary approach. If the EEG is normal, appropriate neurotrophic drugs can be used; hyperbaric oxygen is not routinely applied. It is recommended to seek treatment at a formal hospital. The hospitals I know include: Huai'an Maternal and Child Health Hospital, Nanjing Children's Hospital, and Suzhou University Affiliated Children's Hospital.
