How to handle baby's head eczema?

Patient's question:

My baby is five months old. It seems like there's some leakage from the head. At night, it feels wet when I touch it, and in the morning, there's a layer of yellow scab. I used moisturizing oil to clean it, but it still persists. It's so troublesome. The eczema on the face was treated with urea cream from the children's hospital and has mostly healed. The baby's chest and back, which might have been affected by swimming at the beginning, were covered in patches. The blue topical cream from the children's hospital made them smooth, but they still turn red and have white patches. Then, they start peeling all over. The peeling is being treated with urea cream, but it hasn't fully healed yet. The head is the most troublesome part; I don't know how to deal with it. There are white and yellow patches, all in pieces.

Doctor's answer:

If it's not heavy, focus on moisturizing, and you can use oil-based products on the scalp. However, it's still better to wait and see for a more reliable result.
