Features: In order to implement the spirit of the "Notice on the Forwarding" (No. 23 of Zhong[2000]) and the "Outline for the Tenth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development" issued by the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council, community construction demonstration activities were carried out nationwide to comprehensively promote urban community construction. We organized experts from the Civil Affairs Department, Peking University, and Renmin University of China, as well as practical workers, to jointly compile this large-scale reference book. This book summarizes and absorbs the latest achievements of domestic and international urban community construction reform models and research, and provides in-depth discussions on urban community construction from both theoretical and practical perspectives to serve as a reference for urban community construction and management in China.
