Features: This textbook is one of the series of teaching materials for higher vocational and technical education in medicine. The writing principles are closely aligned with the training objectives and target audience of higher vocational and technical education, adapting to the reform and development requirements of this field, and striving to reflect the characteristics of higher vocational education. During the writing process, the authors designed and compiled the textbook content based on the principle of "meeting needs, being sufficient, and prioritizing practicality." The textbook is divided into two main parts: theory and experiments. The theoretical part consists of 14 chapters, and the experimental part has 4 sections. Chapters 1 and 14 are general theories, while the remaining chapters are specific discussions. Each chapter begins with an outline, and at the end of each chapter, there are discussion questions. The specific discussions are generally organized by pharmacological effects or pharmacodynamics, classified by chemical structure. The textbook focuses on describing the structure, properties, stability, and structure-activity relationships of chemical drugs. It briefly introduces the development process, recent advances, and in vivo metabolism of major drug classes, as well as provides an appropriate overview of drug synthesis. In the writing process, in addition to representative drugs, other drugs are listed for reference. The experiments are concentrated at the end of the book, with concise and essential content, allowing different majors to select relevant sections based on their specific needs.
