The Three Imperial Secrets Hall Manual Calligraphy is a Chinese Manual Calligraphy series, with the full name Three Imperial Secrets Hall Shiqu Baoji Manual Calligraphy. It was first engraved in the twelfth year of the Qianlong era (1747) and completed by the fifteenth year (1750). After completion, only dozens of fine rubbings were personally presented to favored officials. In the seventeenth year of the Qianlong era, five more volumes of calligraphic works by famous masters of past dynasties were carefully selected from imperial collections and engraved on stone. This is how the Three Imperial Secrets Hall Manual Calligraphy was finally completed in its entirety. By the late Qing Dynasty, its fame had spread widely.
