Features: The collection of essays on Eugene O'Neill's drama was published on November 27, 2003, marking the 50th anniversary of the death of Eugene O'Neill, the founder of modern American drama and a Nobel Prize laureate. Theaters in the United States and other countries (including China) are organizing various commemorative events to honor his significant contributions to the world stage. China is also compiling collections of O'Neill's works and a collection of essays on O'Neill's drama, while O'Neill drama performances are being actively prepared. This series of commemorative events will undoubtedly create a new opportunity for O'Neill drama studies in China. Looking back at O'Neill's dramatic achievements now may be quite beneficial.
