Features: As one of the color image human geography series, this book draws inspiration from the compilation philosophy of the U.S. National Geographic magazine, which organically integrates geographical knowledge with human history, while discarding the looseness and lack of systematicity of magazines. The book is divided into two volumes, introducing not only the landforms, forests, deserts, mountains, rivers, folk customs, and relics of various administrative regions but also incorporating myths, typical historical materials, and famous poems, thereby presenting the historical evolution and cultural development of each place in a three-dimensional and holographic manner to readers. At the same time, it is accompanied by over a thousand exquisite illustrations, allowing readers to easily acquire knowledge while experiencing the immersive realism and the joy of appreciating beautiful scenery, making it an ideal reading material for teenagers and non-professional readers learning about Chinese geography. The book covers all 32 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in China, as well as the Special Administrative Regions of Hong Kong and Macau, progressing in order based on geographical location, divided into six parts: Northern China, Central Plains, Southeast Coastal Region, Southern China, Southwest China, and Western China. Among them, provinces and autonomous regions are further divided into several areas, with the division based on municipal administrative divisions. Some municipalities that are discussed less are no longer listed separately but are combined with adjacent municipalities into a single area for the convenience of readers. The book's layout cleverly utilizes asymmetrical column design, with a mismatched arrangement of text and images, and different colors are set for each region based on its characteristics, with attention paid to the use of color and tone, making the entire layout visually striking.
