Features: This dictionary primarily follows the naming principles promulgated by the Committee on Standardization of Names of Natural Sciences and the Chinese Chemical Society, but as an encyclopedic work, it also pays attention to the explanations of existing terms. The entries are arranged in the order of Pinyin, and for the convenience of readers, a Pinyin index is provided. At the end of the book, there is a stroke order index for Chinese characters and an English index. During the compilation of this dictionary, although we have made our utmost efforts, referred to numerous publications, and strived for objectivity and accuracy, due to the large number of entries, it is difficult to maintain a balanced selection. The explanations may inevitably reflect the academic focus of the authors. This dictionary contains over 7,000 entries, covering areas such as polymer physics, polymer chemistry, polymer engineering and technology, polymer materials and their processing and applications. Common terms are used as main entries, and synonyms and industrial technical terms are reflected as cross-references where appropriate.
