Chapter 6 introduces the current living conditions of urban floating populations and the institutional reasons that lead them to urban poverty. Chapter 7 analyzes the living conditions of the elderly, the establishment of the elderly care system, and the poverty issues of urban elderly. Chapter 8 discusses the income and employment status of women, as well as their particular vulnerability to poverty. Chapter 9 analyzes urban poverty trends from the perspectives of urbanization, economic transformation, and population change. Chapter 10 discusses the social consequences of poverty from the perspectives of individuals, families, and society. Chapter 11 discusses, from a policy perspective, how to establish a social security priority order that is easily targeted at poverty groups.
