Features: F. H?lderlin once warned people: "If you cannot afford a lamp and lamp oil, and if you have no time besides from midnight to cockcrow, then you must learn philosophy." Now, borrowing H?lderlin's words, if you want to meet world-class intellectual masters face to face, why not take some time to read this book (besides from midnight to cockcrow). What is the use of philosophy? V. Blumberg believes that philosophy is a mother, a matrix, from which other sciences have gradually separated. If someone were to say to a philosopher that they do not understand one of these children, the philosopher would feel humiliated. The philosophical mother is willing to communicate with all her children and feels responsible for everything. The times have fundamentally changed, and so has philosophy; the relationship between philosophy and the public has also changed. The growing interest of the public is no longer just directed at the names of great philosophers; they need philosophy to provide a responsible explanation for the general experience of the past few decades.
