Features: This book is a collection of works by the Argentine comic artist Modigli. The complete set consists of ten volumes. Modigli's comics possess a distinct artistic personality and unique style. His comics are vibrant in color, showcasing a magical and dreamlike world. The ultra-spacetime and surreal imagination in his works imbue the humorous essence with a rich romantic atmosphere. Additionally, Modigli's comics carry profound philosophical depth. He believes that humans should live together in peace and happiness without any barriers, and the wordless comic format transcends linguistic obstacles, clearly reflecting his ideological stance. Modigli's illustrations are smooth in line and bright in color, especially his main characters, whether human or animal, have round, humorous, and adorable appearances, coupled with exaggerated big noses, which is no wonder why they are beloved by many. The master of silent comedy, Marcel Marceau, once described appreciating Modigli's paintings as if watching a tightly plotted movie, with unexpected surprises coming one after another. Many unforeseen wonders and absurd logical connections are tightly intertwined. Modigli said, "Humans believe in their future, despite the difficulties, they must find ways to overcome them. For me, this is the strength of human nature, and it is through this that humans develop a strong willpower to live creatively." Modigli is indeed a creator who is always searching, always trying, and constantly challenging himself. He not only uses his eyes to observe but also his heart to experience life. Just like the pitiful, absurd, and laughable little characters in his works. Although they bear witness to the cruelty and stupidity of humanity before us, on the other hand? Behind the cruelty and stupidity, isn't Modigli also reshaping humanity's noble ideals and expectations for life? Thank you to the master of black humor, Modigli, for warming our hearts with humor and cleansing our minds with black comedy.
