Features: This series is quite different from the "Elephant Figures Focus Series." In the "Focus Series," the described figure is an objective object, left to the authors to adopt their respective stances and perspectives to gaze upon and scan, then narrated in a relatively free manner. In such circumstances, the author's subjective color inevitably determines the narrative perspective and language, so the figure they focus on is often just the "one" in their mind, rather than the complete truth of the person. Adding to the limitation of the series' length, the life of the described figure, his rich and ever-changing aspects, cannot be fully presented. Now, the "Elephant Figures Self-Narrative Series" will make up for such shortcomings. In this series, the chosen figures are no longer objects of others' focus and scanning, but the protagonists narrating their own lives to the readers. Compared to the "Focus Series," it may make readers feel more intimate. Because, it can serve as a personalized history reading material and also become a more valuable cultural reading material outside of textbooks.
