Features: Zhou Enlai himself is an extraordinary book with vast cultural connotations, worthy of being read forever. Zhou Enlai is a figure in history who left great achievements. Whether discussing philosophical topics, recalling the past, or making historical analyses, he was never pessimistic and skillfully found clever language to respond with witty humor. He was familiar with various situations and freely used his knowledge. His language was concise, and his actions were swift. As he himself emphasized, his words and deeds reflected the inner tension of a person who devoted himself to solving endless daily problems related to the then 800 million people, and showed the effort to maintain ideological belief in the next generation. In short, Zhou Enlai is one of the few people I have met who moved me deeply. – Henry Kissinger, former U.S. Secretary of State
