The book consists of 20 chapters, with the first chapter being an introduction that primarily covers the preparation of histology specimens and the basic structure and use of optical microscopes. Chapters 2-15 are the histology specimen practice section, while chapters 16-20 are the embryology specimen practice section. The entire book includes 346 photographs of histology slide specimens and 116 photographs of embryological models and specimens. The layout follows the text, allowing students to refer to illustrations while reading the textual content, enabling them to observe histology specimens or embryological models under the microscope simultaneously, achieving twice the result with half the effort.
