The timing of newborn hepatitis B vaccination

Patient's question:

Patient Age: Born 20 days
My baby was born on April 22, and on April 23, he received the first dose of the hepatitis B vaccine. The second dose is scheduled for May 23 according to the rules, but the community hospital here says they will only give the second dose after the baby's 42-day checkup. Additionally, the community hospital only provides vaccinations on Wednesdays, so this pushes the date to June 9, which would be the baby's 48th day of life. I'm very worried about any negative effects this might have on him!
As for the third dose, October 23 is a Saturday. Should I get it vaccinated early on October 20 or postpone it to October 27?

Doctor's answer:

The vaccination schedule for the hepatitis B vaccine is an ideal time for vaccination. If the vaccination is administered according to the standard schedule, it will be more beneficial for the formation of antibodies in the child's body.
Medical advice: However, it is acceptable if the vaccination cannot be completed exactly according to the above schedule, although the effectiveness of the antibodies may be slightly reduced. After your child completes the three doses of the hepatitis B vaccine, it is still recommended to check the titer of the hepatitis B surface antibody. If the antibody titer is not high enough, you can have your child receive an additional dose of the hepatitis B vaccine. Therefore, there is no need to worry too much.
