Publish Date: 2003-01-01
Features: This atlas primarily consists of electrothermal burn treatment cases personally photographed and collected by the author during his 40 years of clinical work in burn surgery. Most of the pathological cases were personally operated on and treated by the author, while some were treated through consultations in various locations. The author selected over 600 photographs to compile this atlas, which includes burns on the head, face, neck, skull, torso, internal organs, perineum, and limbs, with a particular focus on early and late-stage electrothermal burn cases of the wrist and hand. In the surgical repair of these electrothermal burn cases, various contemporary reconstructive surgical techniques were applied, including debridement and skin grafting, local or distant flaps, island flaps, free flaps, muscle flaps, musculocutaneous flaps, fascial flaps, tendons, bones, omentum, as well as preformed flaps and expanders.
