Features: "The Advertising Expression Series" is part of the series textbooks of the Advertising Department of Beijing Broadcasting Institute. The series is based on teaching, incorporating courses such as advertising design, concept, design fundamentals, composition design, computer graphics, advertising photography, and film advertising into the framework of "Advertising Expression," providing a relatively complete and sequential framework for advertising creation and its foundations. Through long-term teaching practice, we have gained a clear understanding of advertising creation, particularly regarding the differences between advertising design expression and other forms of art design, as well as the communication attributes of advertising design. Currently, the series includes titles such as "An Overview of Advertising Design," "Advertising Art Fundamentals," "Composition Design," "Computer Graphic Design and Printing," and "Advertising Photography." Additionally, the plan for this series includes the compilation and upcoming publication of "The Creation of Film Advertising" and "The Production of Film Advertising."
Ad education in China has only a history of about 20 years, and the teaching content, methods, and research on related theories have yet to reach full maturity. Some issues remain under exploration. Here, we sincerely invite experts, scholars, teachers, and friends in the advertising design field to offer criticisms and suggestions to promote the continuous progress and development of advertising education.
